- Apparently sick of political Wikipedia vandalism, congresspedia.org has launched an open source reference on political candidates called "Wiki the Vote." P.S. -- Doing things to the vote (i.e. rocking it) in order to get youth interested in politics lost its hip factor around the time everyone recognized that the original reference was to a disco song, groaned, and went back to their coffee.
- TPM:
Have we really gotten to the point in GOP Primary politics where you need to defend yourself against the charge that as President you'd take care to make sure that you were following the Constitution?
Look at it this way: At least there's a GOP candidate (and not just Ron Paul) who's willing to defend their fealty to the Constitution. P.S. -- It's interesting to note that in that same debate, Rudy went out of the way to refer to himself as a "strict constructionist." - Mother buys assault rifle for deranged 14-year-old son, gets arrested. I think we can all feel satisfied by this. P.S. -- He also had four operational hand grenades.
- The Director of the CIA is going after the Inspector General of the CIA for inspecting a little bit too hard.
- Apparently, Republicans have learned from Nixon or Clinton: when you try to cover it up, it just makes your screw-ups look worse.
- Charles Krauthammer, of all people, has come on record supporting Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. He could never vote for her, of course, but if she wins, it would be best for America. Why? Why does Krauthammer have so much respect for Hillary? Because she's risen beyond naive liberal affectations like "principle" and "morality." P.S. -- I think I know what a certain columnist had for breakfast this morning.
- Tucker Carlson thinks Barack Obama is like the Khmer Rouge because he wants young people to get involved in the electoral process.
- NARAL plans to sink Giuliani's nomination by expressing excitement about the possibility that he could be the nominee.
