This is hardly the debut on this blog that I hoped for, but after an hour or so of channel-surfing this evening, two things come to mind:
- Should her husband be nominated and then elected, Michelle Obama is gonna be a fantastic First Lady. Watch her interview with Stephen Colbert from last night, and you'll know what I mean.
- The necessity of this twenty-sixth (assuming that I'm counting correctly) debate involving Senators Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama is questionable; the necessity of George Stephanopoulos as a moderator is downright confounding. More to the point, does it constitute a conflict of interest or simply poor coordination by ABC News? Discuss.
