Regardless of what happens to Barack Obama's candidacy, regardless of his political future, I honestly think that your kids will someday read about this speech in history class. I cannot imagine a more nuanced and masterful understanding and explanation of the racial issues in America today. If there's anyone to lead us on the road to going "beyond race," Barack Obama is that leader.
