Tim left me a message on my voicemail a few minutes ago saying that the cell network in Chicago has pretty much maxed out and that he's not certain he'll be able to send me many texts from the Obama rally. He's got a backup plan, though - pen and paper. He'll be making observations and anything that isn't posted tonight will be posted for posterity tomorrow.
Tim did remark on the carnival atmosphere in downtown Chicago; people are out selling Obama gear and walking around in a general state of what Tim called "Obamagasm."
