MSNBC just had an on-the-scenes reporter (Kelly O'Donnell?) state that the North Carolina GOP is already unofficially admitting defeat.
Update: They have also just called the US Senate race for John Warner's seat in Virginia for Mark Warner (D), and South Carolina's race for incumbent Lindsey Graham (R).
